Decent attempt for maybe 20 words
Mixed in with the ultra-sleazy “adult” titles such as Satan Was a Lesbian (1966) and Killer Dyke (1964), which were clearly intended to function as soft-core pornography, were some profound examinations of lesbian life, such as Claire Morgan’s [that is, Patricia Highsmith’s] The Price of Salt (1952), Ann Bannon’s Beebo Brinker series (1957-1962), Valerie Taylor’s A World Without Men (1963), and even reprints of Gale Wilhelm’s Torchlight to Valhalla (1938) and Radclyffe Hall’s classic The Well of Loneliness (1928).
My friend Riley says she notices it most with butches and femmes, the butches trying to out-butch each other, and probably a lot of the friction between butch dykes and tranny boys being less about the politics both sides spout and more about masculine egos trapped in female bodies.

Angry people looking for fights will inevitably try to poison successful Internet communities. Columnist Cory Doctorow looks at ways to remove the poison without killing the discussion too.
You’ve been angry lately. No one likes you and you feel that you aren’t getting the respect that you deserve. Those other people on the internet, they should feel lucky to share a community with you! How do you catch their attention and let them know what they’ll be missing? Simple! Flounce out of the community. With a wide range of quotes taken from ACTUAL past flounce-posts, you know that the results will be good and everyone will respect you more for taking the moral high ground. You can pick as many options as you please in each category- or none at all! Happy drama!
